What Is G20 Summit ? :-

- It is also known as Group of Twenty Summit.

- The leaders of the world's 20 largest economy countries are involved on the stage of the G20 summit.

- Global issues are discussed in this conference.

- G20 member states represent 85% of global GDP, two-thirds of the world's population and 75% of International trade.

- The G20 was established in 1999 in response to the financial crisis of the late 1990s with the goal of promoting international financial stability and sustainable economic growth.

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States and the European Union.

The member countries are chosen keeping in view their economic importance, representation of their different regions and different economic systems.


G20 Summit Is Organized Every Year :-
